You’ll feel the thrill of adventure the moment your plane hits the tarmac at the Kilimanjaro International Airport. This morning, we’ll pack up our tents and retrace our steps through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, arriving at Ngorongoro Crater itself and descending to the floor of this extinct volcanic caldera. This ancient geological wonder hosts a thriving population of plains game, predators, and massive herbivores. This may be the only opportunity on your Tanzania Budget Camping Safari to spot the elusive and endangered black rhinoceros, so make sure to keep your eyes peeled for signs of this fascinating animal.
